Natasha felt woefully underdressed as she walked into the party by Victoria’s side. They’d been greeted effusively at the door by the Goth girl’s friend Richard, a well-muscled man wearing only a collar and a thong. He’d called Victoria “Lady Night,” and Nat began to wonder just who her dark escort was. But he’d taken her suitcase with a bow and directed them toward the back without a second glance at her casual jeans and flip-flops. Does Victoria often bring strays? She wondered.
Victoria had seized her increasingly sweaty hand and was leading her back through the huge house to a garage-cum-dungeon. Just outside a door which emanated the faintest of susurrations from the party on the other side, Victoria stopped and pulled Natasha close.
She’d applied her make-up in the cab on the way. Strange for a Goth, she didn’t wear much. Just eyeliner, with a touch of shadow on her lids and lipstick of a deep, deep red that flirted with black. Their faces were an inch apart and Nat found herself staring into green-tinged gray eyes. Victoria’s grip on her wrist tightened and Natasha swayed a little closer.
“Want to play with me, Nat?” Victoria asked, her voice unexpectedly throaty.
Natasha watched her long black lashes close in a slow blink before answering. “Oh, yes.”
“Good,” Victoria whispered and kissed her.
It started gentle, but it didn’t stay that way. Victoria sucked Nat’s lower lip into her mouth and bit down on it. Twin points of fire blossomed as the Goth girl’s long canines pierced the delicate inner skin. The new-penny taste of blood quivered in her mouth. Then Victoria began to really kiss her, lips devouring, tongue thrusting and Natasha was only able to whimper and grind a little closer. Even the small movement made her realize how wet she was.
Victoria seemed to sense her sudden hesitation because she pulled away. They were both panting a little, but Nat noticed that “Lady Night’s” make-up was as perfect as ever.
“Well,” Victoria said, her tone level and completely composed. “I suppose we had better go to the party now.”
What am I doing? Natasha let herself wonder as she opened the door. Letting some stranger I met on a plane take me to a play party. I must be crazy.
