That was, until the day he accidentally looked an executive in the eye and the executive looked back. Barrie Talon was a prince of the world, born and bred to run Talon Industries. Yet, for all his wealth and power, he felt alone; people saw only his executive suit, not the man in it. That is, until the day a drone dared to look at him with desire. Barrie still felt his cheeks warm with embarrassment at the thought of stooping to use a drone. This wasn’t something he wanted passed around as part of the company scuttlebutt. He went to the door and touched his palm to it, locking it. Then he turned a knob to tint the windows so that no one could see in, only out.

“You,” he said then, and found he had to clear his throat. The man stilled, and actually glanced about as if hoping to find someone else in the room.

“You, drone,” Barrie said, clearer and firmer now. The man hunched, cleaning cloth between his hands. He said nothing, but then, it was considered impertinent for someone so low to say anything to an executive unless absolutely necessary.

So it was up to Barrie. How was this done? Oh, yes, he remembered now. There were two commands. He simply had to decide which one he wanted. That was easy enough.

“Down!” Barrie ordered. The man’s head shot up, as if he’d just gotten an electric shock. His eyes met Barrie’s straight on, widening with disbelief.

“Did you hear me?”

A heartbeat, and then the drone’s face transformed. His lips parted and his brown eyes gleamed; the plain features became less plain. It was a surprising response, as if Barrie had just offered him his dearest wish. Barrie had no time to wonder about it; the drone rushed forward, almost sliding across the wood floors to kneel at his feet.

It was an eagerness so genuine, so pure that Barrie felt himself profoundly moved. He’d intended on remaining stern and distant, but his heart went soft on him. For a moment, he stared down at the silky brown hair of the drone’s bowed head, wanting to stroke it gently. Against all reason, his cock was getting thick and stiff. More, the smell of wood polish and sweat emanating from the man was strangely, powerfully erotic, as was the submissiveness. He wanted to push the man’s head towards his groin.

But that would be beneath him. He waited. And waited. The man did nothing. Barrie grew impatient.
